EDUCATIONAL BOAT TRIPS

Special rates for groups apply. Enquiries about tours for school groups, tour operators and private functions to be made at the office: 690-3101.

While leaving the port of Mossel Bay everything is explained about what is happening in the harbor.

From the harbor the boat goes to the place where Bartholomew Dias landed in 1488 and all passengers are informed over the intercom about his landing etc.

From there the boat cruises along the beaches on its way to Seal Island.  There you will see the seal colony of 4000 seals and the whole ecological system will be explained.
